Each word or phrase you train in LexiGym has its own unique training milestones, providing you with a comprehensive overview of your learning progress. There are three distinct training milestones for every learning item:
- Trained at least once: This milestone marks your initial interaction with a word or phrase. It indicates that you've encountered the learning item during your training sessions.
- Trained last time successfully: To reach this milestone, you need to successfully complete a training session for that word or phrase during your last encounter. It reflects your ability to recall the translation correctly.
- Trained last 3 times successfully: The highest milestone signifies your consistent mastery of the word or phrase. You've successfully completed the training for this item in your last three sessions, demonstrating a solid understanding.
These milestones serve as your guideposts, indicating your proficiency in each learning item. The progress rings in LexiGym visually represent your progress, with distinct colors representing each milestone. Just like in fitness applications, you can track your training journey in an engaging and motivating way.
Training Types and Total Milestones
LexiGym offers four training types: Translator, Word Builder, Audio Translator, and Audio Word Builder. Each training type has its set of milestones. It's important to note that your progress is tracked independently for each training type. Achieving a milestone in one training type doesn't automatically apply to the others.
The ultimate goal is to master all training types for a specific word or phrase. For example, to reach the highest milestone for a word in the Translator training, you must complete the Translator training for that word successfully. The same applies to other training types.
Furthermore, LexiGym generates total milestones that reflect your overall progress for a particular collection. These total milestones provide a comprehensive view of your mastery of a collection, considering all training types. Your journey to reach these milestones encompasses every training type, and the cumulative progress is a testament to your dedication to language learning.
