Training Types

LexiGym offers four distinct training types, each designed to target specific language skills:

1. Translator: This training type is a card-based exercise that challenges you to find the matching word or phrase translation. It's an excellent way to reinforce your understanding of the language's vocabulary. Training sessions contain multiple rounds where 4-6 selected words are shown, and you need to find the correct match between the original word/phrase and its translation. Each word or phrase is shown multiple times until you answer it correctly in 2-3 rounds. Words are marked as "trained" if at least one mistake is made, and as "trained successfully" if answered correctly without any mistake during the training session. The progress on the screen header shows how many times selected words are answered correctly during the training session.
2. Word Builder: In this training type, you'll construct a learning word or phrase based on its translation. It's a hands-on approach to solidify your language skills and memory. Each selected word is trained once during the training session, marked as "trained" if at least one mistake is made, and as "trained successfully" if built correctly without any mistakes. The progress on the screen header shows how many words are passed during the training session.
3. Audio Translator: Similar to the Translator training type, this mode incorporates audio. You'll match word or phrase audio to its translation, enhancing your listening and translation skills. Training sessions contain multiple rounds where 4-6 selected words are shown, and you need to find the correct match between the audio and its translation. Each word or phrase is shown multiple times until you answer it correctly in 2-3 rounds. Words are marked as "trained" if at least one mistake is made, and as "trained successfully" if answered correctly without any mistakes during the training session. The progress on the screen header shows how many times selected words are answered correctly during the training session.
4. Audio Word Builder: Building on the Word Builder training type, this mode utilizes audio prompts. You'll create a learning word or phrase based on its audio, improving your pronunciation and understanding of spoken language. Each selected word is trained once during the training session, marked as "trained" if at least one mistake is made, and as "trained successfully" if built correctly without any mistakes. The progress on the screen header shows how many words are passed during the training session.

Audio Translator and Audio Word Builder are available if voice settings are enabled for the active language, making your learning experience even more immersive.

Translator and Word Builder focus on constructing or identifying written language, while Audio Translator and Audio Word Builder incorporate spoken language and pronunciation into the training experience.

Training Logic

LexiGym employs a smart training logic that adapts to your learning needs. Before starting your session, select between All-At-Once Mode and One-By-One Mode each offering a distinct training approach.

All-At-Once Mode

In this mode, you'll explore all items in your selected collection simultaneously. It's an ideal way to review material quickly or revisit familiar content without a specific focus. All items are considered equally, ensuring a comprehensive overview of your chosen collection.

LexiGym fetches words or phrases based on the following priority:

• Items that have not been trained before.
• Items that were unsuccessfully trained in the last session.
• Items that were unsuccessfully trained in the last 3 sessions.

If there are no items based on the selection criteria, the application will fetch words/phrases with a shorter training history and items that were trained earlier and have the smallest size of successful training sessions.

One-By-One Mode

This mode allows you to focus on items in your collection one by one. It emphasizes learning and understanding each word or phrase before moving on to the next. If you're looking to delve deeper into your collection, focusing on individual items sequentially, this mode is the perfect choice.

When you choose a collection for training, LexiGym fetches words or phrases based on the collection's ordering and fetches the first item that:

• Was not successfully trained in the last 3 sessions.

If there are no items based on the selection criteria, the application will fetch words/phrases with a shorter training history and items that were trained earlier and have the smallest size of successful training sessions.

Choose between these modes based on your learning preferences and collection goals to optimize your language learning journey.

Words are marked as "successfully trained" if you complete a training session without making any mistakes. Otherwise, they are marked as "trained." The more successful training sessions for a word, the less likely you are to encounter it again in your training sessions. LexiGym's adaptive logic ensures that you focus on what you need the most.

If an item in a collection is trained multiple times successfully, it may eventually disappear from your training sessions entirely, as you've demonstrated a strong grasp of that word or phrase.

Energy System and Premium Subscription

Each training session consumes a certain amount of energy. LexiGym provides a dynamic energy recovery system, where one unit of energy is replenished every 10 minutes until it reaches its maximum value.
